  • These rennet tablets can be used in all cheese.
  • Each rennet tablet will clot between 25 – 50 litres milk.
  • This is a vegetarian rennet product.
  • Best before is 24 months from date of manufacture but activity will remain very high well past this date.
  • Store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.
  • Do not freeze.
  • Dissolve the rennet tablet in 20ml – 40ml of previously boiled, then cooled to ambient temperature water, before adding to the milk.  Do not add the rennet to hot water.
  • The clotting time is dependent on milk acidity, temperature, milk composition and milk quality.
  • My personal preference is to use liquid rennet as opposed to rennet tablets.
