Premium Kit II + 8L and 24L Polycarbonate Vats



This is the 5th level of the premium cheese making kits. It is the most popular of the cheesemaking kits because it has everything for both the beginner and the experienced cheesemaker. It is exactly the same as the ‘Premium Kit 11 with 8 litre polycarbonate cheese vat’ but has a 24 litre polycarbonate cheese vat/jacket included. The 8 litre vat placed in the 24 litre jacket is the easiest way to make cheese. The warm water in the jacket keeps the milk in the 8 litre cheese vat warm. It will allow you to turn 1000’s of litres of milk into many different varieties of cheese. Cheese such as eg Cheddar, Chev, Camembert and Brie, Feta, Persian Feta, Fresh Mozzarella, Chabichou, Edam and Gouda, Marinated Feta are just some of those cheese.

This kit comes with a Camembert, Cheddar, Persian Feta and Quark recipes and notes for those recipes The kit also comes with a Simple Easy Cheese recipe as an introduction to cheesemaking before you start making any of the cheese mentioned above.

Being the level 5 Premium Kit there are several items that have been left out of this kit. If you require any of the items below they can be purchased from the website at the same time as your purchase the Kit. These items include:

  • More 100mm hoops eg to make more Camembert
  • 2 more Metal Draining Racks
  • Another thermometer
  • Halloumi Hoop (the Halloumi recipe is offered with Premium Kit 11 if a Halloumi hoop is ordered)
  • Cheese Press for hard cheese

The recipes and notes provided with this cheesemaking kit do not replace the 14 hours of hands-on cheesemaking provided at the two-day Intensive Cheesemaking Courses, where many finer points of cheesemaking are discussed and put into practice.
