This cloth has multiple uses in cheesemaking. It is a modern version of the traditional cotton muslin cheese cloth. It is used to drain ‘wick the moisture’ away from cheese curds, line cheese hoops for all pressed cheese, and to line draining racks for cheese that has just been hooped to speed up whey removal. Place this cheese cloth on the mesh draining rack to allow drainage of the curd. Always place the smooth side against the cheese when draining curds for the best whey removal. This cheese cloth is easily cleaned in warm soapy water, dries quickly for storage and can be reused numerous times. It can be easily cut to any size. 1 meter length x 370mm wide.
